David's father passed away suddenly last month. He had been ill for some time, but his death was quite unexpected. We had to make the trip to Scotland and it was crazy. Beauly did well going over but then we all got a stomach bug while we were there so our trip back wasn't so good.
And on the up-side, Beauly turned 1 this month. She actually celebrated her first birthday in Scotland with her Granny, aunt, uncle and cousin. It was a nice, quiet birthday. Then we had a party for her here last weekend. She's getting to be such a little girl. She's nearly walking, but not quite there.
On the surgery front, I have two more diet visits and still need to schedule my psych eval. That will be all of my requirements and then they can submit everything to my insurance company for approval. I'm still hoping that surgery will be in August or September and I'll be thinner by the time we travel to Scotland again in December.
