I found a new surgeon and have an appointment with him on August 14th. This new group will have to re-submit everything to my insurance company. Looks like I might have to meet with the nutritionist again, which is no big deal, just more money out-of-pocket. Hopefully all of my other items will be acceptable.
Turns out my initial submission to insurance was denied anyway because I didn't have medical clearance for surgery from a doctor in addition to the surgeon. His staff said everything was in order and it wasn't.
So, maybe this all happened for a reason and the new group will be better. I'm sure hoping so. :)
